I enjoy visiting the beach, museums, arts and crafts stores, coffee shops, jazz clubs, and book stores. Some things I like to do are reading, walking at the beach, watching cartoons, listening to music, relaxing in a hammock, biking, power walks, bowling, playing video games, playing card/board games, watching movies, picnics, gardening, playing basketball, playing tennis, taking my dogs to the doggie beach, watching football, or having stimulating conversation with a friend. I can?t say that I have a favorite genre of music because I enjoy listening to all types of music...jazz, latin, reggae, R&B, classical, opera, and even children's. However, when it comes to movies?I really like watching scary movies, but also enjoy documentaries, cartoons, true stories, and action flicks. I love dancing Salsa, but don?t get out often enough to ?get my groove on" because I rarely visit the club scene. I do most of my dancing at house parties during a friend's b-day party, Halloween party, etc., but wouldn?t mind getting out more often than I do. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I am a chocoholic. I love being read to or reading to someone.
Though I enjoy spoiling those that I love in every way. I am not one who wants for material gifts that come with a price tag nor am I impressed by money or power. Friendship, quality time, a beautiful stone picked up from the beach, a handmade card made with crayons, a flower picked from the park or your yard, a piece of bark from a eucalyptus tree, a thoughtful text message, or a phone call are all priceless gifts that place a smile on my face. I value unconditional love, peace, inner beauty, education, life, friendship, and family. I am seeking to build friendships with women who possess similar values, and interests as me (or different interests as I am willing to try new things). Women who are loyal, confident, affectionate, honest, positive, down to earth, serene, passionate and spiritual. Moreover, I welcome women of all cultures, colors, shapes, sizes, etc. for what I am seeking, first and foremost, is friendship and inner beauty. Distance is not a concern for me as I believe that "the shortest distance between new friends is a smile" and that once their is true friendship neither time or distance can touch the friendship of the heart.
